Regional Connection Event: Grande Prairie, April 2026

The Regional Council is travelling to you! The weekend of April 25 and 26, all of Northern Spirit is invited to join us in Grande Prairie for a time of connection, learning, and worship.

Where: Grande Prairie, AB, St. Paul’s United Church, 10206 100 Ave., T8V 0V6 (Google Maps link)

When: Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026

What: Saturday will include workshops, a lunch, and time to gather together. Join us Sunday morning for worship, and then a time for fellowship and coffee.

Who: All of Northern Spirit are welcome to attend. Understanding the geographical realities of our wide Region, we are planning future connection events in other locations that may be closer to you.

*Please note that this is not an Annual Meeting. Our 2026 Annual Meeting will be held online, November 2026; but there are still opportunities to gather in person! Future connection events are also in planning, for those not neighbouring Grande Prairie or those who can’t attend in April. Our next Connection Event is being planned for Fall 2026 in the Southern part of our Region.

Cost: This event is free to attend. Registration includes coffee and tea, and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Please note that the Region is not organizing hotels for those who will be travelling into the city, and there will not be a dinner provided on Saturday. So if you attend, dinner and accommodations are your responsibility, but workshops, lunches, and tea and coffee are on us! There will also be a percentage of mileage costs offered for anyone travelling over 100 km to attend.
