Ecumenical Mission of Strathcona County

The 35th Annual Ecumenical Mission of Strathcona County will take place from October 4th to 7th. Seven churches in Strathcona County from United, Lutheran, Anglican and Roman Catholic denominations are participating this year. They will host a series of evening worship services, and morning and afternoon bible studies. This year the Lutheran Church is taking the lead. They have invited the Reverend Dr. Anna Madsen to be the Mission leader. Dr. Madsen has chosen “Living our Baptismal Hospitality” as the theme of this year’s Mission.
