Northern Spirit is delighted to announce the hiring of our new administrative staff, Chloe Burns. Chloe lives and works in Treaty 6 territory, Edmonton, Alberta. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alberta, where she majored in both English and Women’s & Gender Studies. She has experience working in administration, events, education, and the arts. She has been singing, celebrating, and gathering with the United Church for her whole life, and is looking forward to this new experience and opportunity!
Chloe will be working .6 time (just over half time). She will work with many of the communications and contact tools that and relationships that help hold our Regional Council together, including the weekly newsletter, contact lists, website content, and responding to questions and requests. She will be working alongside Jes Beckerley, who will continue to hold the pastoral relations support work. Have a look at the division of work outlined in October; Chloe will gradually take over the work Bev Diebert in Living Skies has been carrying. Welcome, Chloe!
