Welcome, Rev. Sarah Giles!
Sarah has jumped in to help communities of faith with their stewardship needs while Vicki Nelson is on leave. Sarah is the navigator for all aspects of community of faith stewardship, including annual giving programs, year-round stewardship, planned giving and more. Sarah’s waiting to help steer you in the direction that is best for your community of faith, and to help you to journey through conversations about stewardship. Sarah is a fourth generation United Church member on both sides of her family and has served as Minister for 10 years in rural Saskatchewan. Sarah brings with her a love of rural ministry, and experience with small churches possessing big hearts to her work with the Stewardship group. Sarah also sits on her region’s Affirm Committee. Beyond church organizations Sarah has several years’ experience working and volunteering with various organizations both in her community and beyond. Sarah lives in South-Central Saskatchewan, on the Manitoba border with her spouse, three teenaged/young adult offspring and two labrador retrievers who are always happy to see her.
