Jazz and Reflections – Jacob Do Trio

Jacob Do is a saxophonist, composer, and educator whose resonant and nuanced sound lends itself to emotional storytelling through improvisation. Jacob elevates and serves the music through his authentic, precise, and ambitious approach as an improviser, connecting to audiences through the shared human experience. As an artist, he has crafted original compositions and arrangements unified by soundscapes of intensity and vulnerability; all while being immensely steeped in the rich tradition of Black American Music. Jacob completed his degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University in 2021.
