Lenten Prayer Meetings

Come together, let us pray.

Calling all United Church people in the greater Edmonton area (including Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park and everywhere)! Let us come together during Lent 2026 for times to pray.

Every Sunday during Lent come let us gather at the following locations to pray. We will be praying for:

1. The renewal of the church
2. Discernment of congregations for future witness and ministry
3. The work of the regional council
4. The plans of the National Church for Vision 2035
5. Strength and equipping of leadership for the present time
6. Current concerns for the community, nation, and world.

Each prayer meeting starts at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time.  ALL ARE INVITED.

For all our communities not in the Edmonton area, we invite you to join us in one of two ways: over Zoom (connection link; Meeting ID: 864 7516 7860; Passcode: 803578); or by gathering to pray in your own community at the same time, joining your prayers and spirits to ours.
