Biblical Telling: A New Way Home

Storytellers from across Canada, India, the USA, and around the world gather to hone their bible telling skills and repertoire in a 2 ½-day Festival of Biblical Telling.

Workshops will cover a spectrum of topics: Biblical Telling 101, an introduction to performance criticism, biblical telling as a contemplative practice, sharing the Bible with children, starting small with little, tiny tellings, the ring shape found in biblical text, Deaf signing our telling, coaching from the world of drama on how to prepare a text, the connection between paperless music leading and paperless biblical telling, Godly Play, and the role of story in Indigenous wisdom and community.
