SUMMARY:Regional Connection Event: Camrose\, Fall 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Regional Council is travelling to you! The weekend of October 24 and 25\, all of Northern Spirit is invited to join us in Camrose for a time of connection\, learning\, and worship. \nWhere: Camrose\, AB\, Camrose United Church\, 4829 50 St\, (Google Maps link) \nWhen: Saturday\, October 24\, and Sunday\, October 25\, 2026.\n*The schedule is not yet finalized\, but we estimate that the gathering will begin Saturday 9 a.m.\, with a break for dinner at 5 p.m.\, and further space for conversation in the evening (7-9). Sunday worship will begin at 10 a.m.\, with coffee and refreshments after (noon-1:30).  \nWhat: Saturday will include workshops\, a lunch\, and time to gather together. Join us Sunday morning for a special Celebration of Ministry service\, and then a time for fellowship and coffee. \nWho: All of Northern Spirit are welcome to attend. *Understanding the geographical realities of our wide Region\, we are planning future connection events in other locations that may be closer to you. \n*Please note that this is not an Annual Meeting. Our 2026 Annual Meeting will be held online\, November 2026; but there are still opportunities to gather in person! Future connection events are also in planning\, for those not neighbouring Grande Prairie or those who can’t attend in April. Our next Connection Event is being planned for Spring 2027. \nCost: This event is free to attend. Registration includes coffee and tea\, and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Please note that the Region is not organizing hotels for those who will be travelling into the city\, and there will not be a dinner provided on Saturday. So if you attend\, dinner and accommodations are your responsibility\, but workshops\, lunches\, and tea and coffee are on us! There will also be a percentage of mileage costs offered for anyone travelling over 100 km to attend. \nRegistering for this event is very important so we have an idea of numbers\, allergies\, and other accessibility considerations. Register at this link! Registration deadline is October 1\, 2026. \nA draft schedule will be posted here as soon as it is available. \nPlease contact the office with any questions or concerns.
