DESCRIPTION:A UNITED RESPONSE TO CLIMATE CHANGE.\nRELATIONAL ORGANIZING AS A VEHICLE FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE\nThe Climate in Canada is changing: summer temperatures are rising\, summer forests are burn are alarming rate\, reduce rainfall and snow during the year\, poor air quality and health issues\, increased need for warming and cooling shelters for the unhoused\, and affordable housing needs at a record high. \nHear strategies\, experiences\, and stories of fundamental of community organizing to discuss how the United Churches can work together\, and with other faith communities\, and community organizations to confront the social justice and environmental catastrophe of climate change facing us today. \nGuest Speaker David Burrow from the Uniting Church of Australia is a member and leader within the Uniting Church Synod of North South Wales.
